Members of the Peoples Democratic Occasion in Imo State on Sunday closed Owerri, the state capital, in protest of the elimination of Emeka Ihedioha from the Supreme Courtroom and the declaration of Hope Uzodinma because the duly elected governor of the state. .
Adorned in black robes, PDP members marched across the state capital, asking the supreme court docket to rethink its judgment, saying that the protest will persist if the apex court docket refuses to rethink its determination on the matter.
A member of the Home of Representatives, Henry Nwawuba, who spoke to reporters, mentioned Supreme Courtroom jurors had murdered democracy within the state with their trial.
