Nigeria’s President Muhammadu Buhari has described the late Olanrewaju Fasasi, popularly referred to as Sound Sultan as one who was deeply enthusiastic about points within the nation.
Mr Buhari said this in an announcement by his media aide Femi Adesina on Monday when he prolonged heartfelt condolences to the Fasasi household.
Sound Sultan died on Sunday after a hard-fought battle with Angioimmunoblastic T-Cell Lymphoma.
“President Muhammadu Buhari extends heartfelt condolences to the Fasasi household on the loss of life of famend singer and songwriter, Olanrewaju Fasasi, popularly referred to as Sound Sultan, aged 44,” the assertion learn.
“The President notes that Sound Sultan’s demise just isn’t solely a loss to the Nigerian music business, however to the nation as a complete.
