Paris Saint-Germain mentioned on Wednesday they’d ended the signing of Italy Euro 2020 goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma for a five-year deal.
The 22-year-old, who saved two penalties within the Euro finals and was named match participant, is heading to France for a free switch from AC Milan.
Donnarumma can be competing with knowledgeable Keylor Navas for the goalkeeper’s shirt.
“I’m completely happy to be a part of this nice membership,” Donnarumma mentioned in an announcement launched by PSG.
“I really feel able to face this new problem and proceed to develop right here.”
“With Paris, I need to earn as a lot as potential and convey pleasure to the supporters.”
Throughout his six seasons with the Rossoneri, the Napoli native has made 215 appearances in Serie A with 16 Europa League video games and 12 Italian Cup matches (together with the 2016 and 2018 finals).
He’s the third participant to signal for PSG for a free switch this summer season after Spanish defender Sergio Ramos and Dutch midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum have been out of contract with Actual Madrid and Liverpool respectively.
